The choice of the right nozzle depends on the pump capacity and the application.

Spray Cleaning Activities

If the nozzle outlet is too large, the pump will not be able to reach the maximum working pressure. If the nozzle outlet is too small, the flow rate of the pump will not be delivered. In order to be able to use the maximum pumping capacity, the flow rate of the nozzle will have to be approximately equal to the pump flow rate.

Crop Protection

For crop protection activities in the horticultural sector, a 2mm to 2.3mm opening is generally used.
