In horticulture, a hand tractor has been used for years to work the soil for different types of crops. The hand tractor with double-tyred wheels has a very low ground pressure compared to a conventional tractor. The power of a conventional diesel-powered hand tractor is limited to 19 kW to meet emission requirements. These engines still emit particulate material. By replacing the diesel engine for an electric motor powered by a lithium battery, there are no more emissions in the workplace while using the hand tractor.

The Nibbi-E electric hand tractor has been developed to combine the advantages of low ground pressure and good manoeuvrability with electric power to work the soil for a time frame of more than 2 hours and all this with no emissions at the workplace!
