This shredder is specifically designed for shredding or chopping horticultural cultivations, such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, aubergines and various other crops and vegetables.
The machine works with transport fabric on which the plants are placed. It rolls up the canvas and pulls in the stems. The crop is then shredded or chopped, after which the crop waste is dumped into a (Buffer) container. The container can be emptied by a forklift. The crop volume is reduced to approximately 20% of it’s origin.
It's high capacity up to 13.000 m2/hour, makes the machine suitable for contractors or growers with large nurseries. The Mega Chopper Compact is remote controlled and equipped with a swiveling output. It has an optional “Tomato unit”, which makes chopping of binded tomatoes, without transport canvas, possible.
The limited height of 2,03 m (with standard output), enables the Mega Chopper Compact to drive through a cucumber greenhouse and shred cucumbers at high speed!
