Bio Hopper XL PTO

The Bio Hopper XL is a multifunctional crop rotation machine for removing various horticultural substrates (rockwool, perlite, coir, slabs), tomato leaf, groundcover and various crops (cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, strawberries etc.). The Bio Hopper rolls up the transport canvas on which the material is drawn to the machine. The material falls on a conveyor belt, which transports it into a (tipping)container, buffer container, or on the concrete path. Instead of a containers, the material can also be driven out with a foliage fork.

Efficiency

Thanks to its adjustable height (minimum 1.90m) this Bio Hopper XL is excellent for low wire (cucumber) cultivations and use in greenhouses with a limited height. This crop rotation machine is powered by a PTO driven hydraulic unit. The hydraulic unit is driven by the PTO of the tractor. A relatively small tractor (30-40 PS) has enough power to drive the Bio Hopper XL.

Safety

The Bio Hopper XL is equipped with "safety doors", which completely shield off the winding of the transport fabric. Winding of the fabric is only possible when the doors are fully open. This guarantees the safety of the users without compromising on efficiency! In addition, the machine is equipped with various emergency stops at the operator locations.

Quality and reliability

The Bio Hopper XL is constructed from high quality components. The conveyor belt is extremely durable and reïnforced with steel bars. The steel bars ensure that an accidental damage to the belt has no influence on the strength of the belt, so you can always finish the job. The integrated oil cooler ensures flawless operation in the most extreme temperatures. The proportional hydraulics ensure an easy operation. The machine is equipped an integrated steering system which ensures perfectly straight and fold free winding of the transport mat.
